(Received Juno 19, 9.35 p,m, The Crown has abandoned the case against Sylvester O’Reilly, who was arrested on October 6 last, on a charge of murdering a man named McLennan, whose body was found in Centennial Park, four days previously. MELBOURNE, June 19. It is understand that Mr Bruce (Federal Premier) replied to Mr Theodore (Queensland Premier) refusing to amend the tentative sugar agreement. The second trial of Kelly for the murder of Overall has opened.
