BRICKLAYERS' APPRENTICES. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright). (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) SYDNEY, June 15. The Board of Trade has announced its decision respecting new regulations in connection with bricklaying apprentices.. Boys entering the trade between the ages of 14 an 16 will be apprenticed for five years; 16 to 17, four years; 17 to 19, three years. There is a provision for the latter group’s special evening instruction at trade schools. The wages of the first group will be 17/6 to £2 7/6 a week; second, £1 2/6 to £2 7/6; and the third, £1 10/- to £2 10/-.
