CONSUMPTION CURE

COMMONWEALTH NEGOTIATIONS WITH SPAH LINGER. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright). SYDNEY, June 11. Senator Wilson, Minister of Health, explaining the reason why the Commonwealth was not following the matter of the Spahiinger tuberculosis cure, said the Commonwealth negotiated with Spahiinger, but first desired samples of the vaccine for experimenting on guinea pigs. Spahiinger replied that it was inadvisable lor Australia to start the manufacture until the process was thoroughly tested. He also stated that it was unnecessary to experiment on guinea pigs as it was beyond the experimental stage. As this is an apparent contradiction, added to which Spahiinger broke negotiations, the Commonwealth dropped the matter.
