It was a close game throughout, the visitors being three up almost on the time when a disturbance of bowls in Jenkins’s rink reversed the advantage. Scores: —MacKay (skip) 23, Hutchison 22, Woodhouse 22, Broad 20, Love 18, Kilgour 26, Staley 28, Jenkin 21. Total 91 to 89. TENNIS. DAVIS CUP LONDON, June It. (Received June 10.30 p.m.) In the northern lawn tennis championships final at Manchester, Wheatley’ beat Woosnam, after a tremendous struggle 6—3, 4—6, 9—7, 9—ll, 6—2. It is understood that Degomar and Flagner will represent Spain in the Davis Cup matchyat Manchester on June 16. Lycett, Gilbert, and Wheatley will represent Britain, with Woosnamas reserve. M. Washer, a left handed Belgian will partner Mddle Lenglen, and take part in the mixed, doubles at Wimbledon.
