(Received June 11, 8.45 p.m.) A meeting of the London Trades Council on Thursday will discuss a resolution moved by the Platen Printing Machine Minders’ Society, that the time has arrived when trade unions should exercise a censorship over the press, owing to the gross misrepresentations regarding workers in trade disputes. CO-OPERATIVE EMPLOYEES’ STRIKE. LONDON, June 10. Owing to the non-settlement of the strike of employees of the Manchester branch of the Co-operative Wholesale Society, a strike has been called through England and Wales of all employed by the Co-operative Society numbering 10,000 to 15,000.
