The father died, but the mother recovered. The crowd demonstrated against the mother and daughter and rushed towards them shouting murder threats. Several policemen overpowered the crowd and hurried reinforcements saved the women from being lynched. They were removed prostrate. The crowd unsuccessfully attempted to liberate Biselli who is considered a victim of the women’s conspiracy.
