SCIENTIFIC EXPEDITION ARRANGED. (By Telegraph—Press x*ssn. —Copyright). (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, June 8. Nine Fellows of the Royal Society and others representing the British Association and other scientific bodies have chartered the 1000 ton three-masted barquentine Saint George, and will start in September to explore the less known Pacific Islands, including Easter Island, Tahiti and Rapa. The cruise will last 304 days and cover 21,000 miles. Commander Blair commands the Saint George. The cost will be covered by members of the expedition, and if there is any profit it will be used in organising other expeditions.
