FLEEING FROM JUSTICE
RELIGIOUS MAN’S SERIOUS GRIME. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright). (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) NEW YORK, June 8. A message from St. Joseph (Michigan), states it is believed that Benjamin Purnell, who is a minister of the religious cult, known as the “House of David,” and who is a fugitive from justice, being charged with improper conduct towards girl mem bers of the cult, has fled to Melbourne. Mr Daugherty (Attorney-General), announced that the Australian officials had been requested to watch for Purnell.
