BODY IDENTIFIED. (Per United Press Association.) DUNEDIN, June 8. The body found on the beach at Green Island has been identified as that of William Armstrong Scott, a letter sorter, aged 41 and single, who left his home at Mornington in September last. He was peculiar in his manner and had not worked for eight years on account of ill-health. An open verdict was returned. OLD MAN KILLED. TIMARU, June 8. While cycling home from work at 5 o’clock to-night, Thomas Berry, a workman in a flourmill, was knocked down and run over by a motor car, driven by H. P. Luke, employed by a firm of land agents in Timaru. Berry expired soon after. Deceased was about 60 years of age.
