HELP FOR FARMERS

NEW AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISE. (Per United Press Association). WELLINGTON, June 7. The Minister of Agriculture at the suggestion of Dr Reakcs has sanctioned the setting up of a new division of the Department which will be known as the Fields Division. This division will have charge of agriculture extension, agriculture research work and the Department’s biological laboratory. Mr A. H. Cockayne, Government Biologist, will have charge of the new division with the title of Director of Fields Division. The new division is expected to be of great value to men on the land.
