OLD MAN RUN OVER. A man named Patrick Comber, was run over and killed by a traction engine on the East Chatton Road on Wednesday night. MAN DROPS DEAD. Advice was received by the Inspector of Police last evening that a man named John Elliott aged 71, had dropped dead in a paddock at Tapanui shortly after mid-day yesterday. YOUNG MARRIED WOMAN’S DEATH. The police have been advised that Katherine McKillop, wife of Hugh McKillop, quarryman, Browns, died suddenly yesterday morning. She had not been attended by a doctor. A post mortem and an inquest will be held. Deceased was 33 years of age and had five children. FALL OF FORTY FEET. (Per United Press Association). DUNEDIN, May 11. Alexander Webster, aged 46, a patient in the Dominion Ward of the Dunedin Hospital was killed this morning by falling from a window 40-ft above an asphalt path.
