TUTANKHAMEN IN CHRISTCHURCH. (Per United Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, May 11. Tutankhamen in all his ancient panoply, came to Christchurch to-day. The Canterbury College students brought him and thousands of citizens turned out to bid the Royal visitor welcome. It was the day of the students annual carnival. The procession was cjuite as successful as the previous years despite the wet gloomy weather. Today’s revels were the first of fixtures in connection with the jubilee celebrations of Canterbury College.
