POWER BOARD

THE NEW PERSONNEL. As a result of the recent elections and the fact that several previous members of the Power Board did not seek re-election, the personnel of the Board will be considerably changed, and some new faces will be noticed at the annual meeting when it takes place on May 22. The representatives of the various local bodies interested in the Power Board for the ensuing term of office will be as follows:—lnvercargill Borough— Messrs J. Macalister (re-elected) and A. le H. Hoyles (new member) ; South Invercargill and Combined District—Mr A. W. Rodger (new member for this particular district); South Land County—Messrs E. Bowmar, T. Fraser, and Hon. A. F. Hawke (re-elected), Messrs Adam Hamilton and H. J. Middleton (new members) ; Wallace County—Messrs T. A. Buckingham (re-elected) and D. J. Heenan (new member) ; Clutha and Tuapeka Counties—Mr R. A. Rodger (re-elected) ; Gore and Combined District —Mr H. E. Niven (re-elected). The old members of the Board who were not returned were Messrs W. Hinchey (the late chairman), and L. Cody, while Messrs Henry Fowler, W. M. Norman and A. Glass did not seek re-election.
