REVISING DUMPING DUTY (By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) CAPETOWN, May 2. In the Assembly the Minister of Finance announced a revision of the tariff proposals whereby the dumping duty would not exceed 25 per cent. The freight dumping duty is confined to goods whose value including freight does not exceed £lO per ton. The Premier announced that he intended to re-enact clauses in fhe Profiteering Act empowering the Board to take action in cases of complaints of manufacturers refusing to supply goods to retailers who sell under fixed prices.
