SCHOOLBOY ASSASSINS
ATTEMPT ON BAVARIAN SOCIALIST’S LIFE. (By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association). LONDON, February 16. The Paris Matin reports that nine persons were arrested in Munich charged with plotting to assassinate Herr Baure, a leading Bavarian Socialist deputy. The chief accused is a schoolboy aged 17. PARIS, February 16. Herr Baure, the Bavarian deputy, for plotting against whom several arrests have been made twice escaped assassination in 1919. He was seriously wounded by revolver shots in the Landstag in 1921 and was the of night attacks on three occasions. [Boys were supposed to have been concerned in the assassination of Dr Rathenau, and the Pan-Germans were implicated.]
