The performances of Passion Plays at Oberammergau have concluded, having been attended by 317,000 visitors during season. The receipts totalled 21,090,000 marks, but it is doubtful if that amount will cover the heavy expenses. Nevertheless George Lang, the manager, has declined an American company’s renewed offer of several million marks for the rights of filming the performances.
