OPENING OF THE SESSION
DATE NOT FIXED. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 22. The date for the commencement of the next session of Parliament has not yet been fixed, but it will probably be about June 22. Parliament stands prorogued until June 15, but it must meet before the end of the month in order to grant supply. From present appearances the session will be a strenuous one, as there is much important business to be dealt with, and as there is an election to follow, the session cannot be unduly prolonged.
