AN AMERICAN INVASION (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association) SYDNEY, May 22. Mr G. Wingrove Osborne, a mining engineer, who has been for three and a half years in the Malay States, says there is an American invasion of the States. If the tin depression continues the Americans will dominate the whole industry. Americans look to the future with confidence and are buying extra areas whilst low prices are prevailing.
