HOSPITAL BOARD

MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Hospital Board yesterday afternoon was attended by Messrs J. Matheson (chairman), J. Fleming, W. Norman, T. Fraser, H. E. Niven, J. A. McDougall, T. Rhodes, Edie and Misses Birss and Dryburgh. The Department of Health wrote, informing the Board that its plans for the erection of an X-ray room had been approved and suggested that more light and adequate ventilation should be provided. Received and suggestions adopted. It was decided to draw the attention of the Ambulance Brigade to the speed at which the motor ambulance was driven. The chairman and Mr J.
