HOSPITAL INQUIRY
CHARGES OF NEGLECT THE STAFF EXONERATED The special committee appointed by the Southland Hospital Board to hold an inquiry in connection with a complaint of neglect of a patient who recently died at the Southland Hospital, submitted its report to the executive of the Board at its last meeting. In the report of the executive committee submitted to yesterday’s meeting of the Board, it was stated that the report of the special committee in connection with the complaint had been adopted. After exhaustive enquiry the committee found that the charges of neglect against the staff had not been substantiated.
