WAIKIWI HALL

ALL NATIONS CARNIVAL. The Al! Nations Carnival at Waikiwi is moving along splendidly and a really good show is being got together. The stalls completely line the sides of the Hall and the several side shows are grouped together at the entrance end. A striking colour effect is brought about by the flags of the nations represented and floral decorations. The tea rooms are a feature and represent a miniature bush, while the football stall is very artistic. Goods have been donated on a very liberal scale, ranging from a silver tea service down to many small articles. The official opening by Mr J. R. Hamilton, Member for Awarua, will take place at 3 p.m. to-day and in the evening Mr Gleeson’s orchestra wil’ provide a programme of selections. The national march by young ladies with tableau and illuminated effects will be given each evening, and will be well worth seeing.
