PUBLISHING TOTAIJSATOR ODDS FINED HEAVILY, (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 30. Two charges of having published totalizator dividends were admitted by Samuel Nelson in the Police Court The charges related to races at Wellington and Paeroa, respectively. Chief-Detective Mcllveney said defendant was a bookmaker’s agent He received information as to dividends by wire and published them to bookmaker* at Auckland, Hamilton, and Frankton Junction. He lived by this means. Defendant had nothing to say and was fined £2O on each charge and allowed a month to pay.
