(Received March 30, 5.5 p.m.) The famous shipbuilding and ironworking yards, the Ansaido, at Genoa, which ia known as the Krupps of Italy, is closing down, throwing out of work from 30,000 to 50,000 employees. This decision is said to be due to the socialists interference and the Government’s imposition of a war profit tax amounting to 500,000,000 lire, which made it impossible to restart on a peace basia.
