WOOL REALISATION
THE NEW ZEALAND SALES. ASSOCIATION RESERVES ADOPTED. (Special to the Times.) WELLINGTON, May 19. The wool sale to be held in Wellington on May 25 is to be conducted on the same lines as the recent B.A.W.R.A. sales in Australia. The minimum reserves adopted by the British Australian Wool Realisation Association are to be enforced. New Zealand has not adopted these reserves definitely, but in accordance with the recent decision of the Producers’ Committee the dominion is to co-operate with the Association for the present in wool realisation, and the reserves fixed in Australia will be used as long as they suit New Zealand producers. Mr Mabin, who has been negotiating with the Australian directors of the Association on behalf of New Zealand for several weeks past, is to leave Melbourne for New Zealand to-morrow, and he will meet the Producers* Committee in Wellington on his arrival. He will make recommendations regarding the scheme of co-operation.
