The plaintiff’s claim included £250, being the total amount of various sums paid by the plaintiff to his mother from time to time during the years 1895-1903, £7B for grazing 30 head of cattle, £3O 17s 9d moneys paid to Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and to Watson and Haggitt on behalf of his mother during the years 1907-11, and £44, being the total sum of cheques paid to his mother during her residence at Lumsden.
The plaintiff admitted as a set-off the sum of £l9O, being the amount of a promissory note given by plaintiff to his mother on April 1, 1915. Judgment would therefore be for £S9 7s 9d. No costs were allowed.
