SPIRITUALISM
SIR A. CONAN DOYLE’S LECTURES. THE RELIGIOUS SIDE. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) SYDNEY, November 18. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, at a second crowded lecture, dealt with the religious side of spiritualism. He claimed that, if physical research was a proper thing as the churches admitted, he could not see why they did not go further and let it impinge upon religion. If Christian sects got out of their narrow cliques and took a broader view they would understand that spiritualism was a helpful ally. They would understand what communion of saints really did mean.
