INFLUX OF INDIANS
SPECIAL LANDING PERMITS REQUIRED. (Per United Press Association.) WANGANUI, November 18. Replying to representations from Mr Veitch, regarding the influx of 100 Indians via Fiji, Sir William Herries states that the Collector of Customs has been advised that the Indians will not be permitted to land unless in the possession of special permits granted by him on application from Fiji. Those actually booked through from India must be permitted to land under the old conditions.
