BANKRUPTCY ACT

ALLEGED BREACHES. (Per United Press .Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 27. At the Magistrate’s Court this morning, William Shaw, trading as the North and Shaw Rubber Company, was charged with breaches of the Bankruptcy Act in that (1) having been adjudged bankrupt he had within three years before the commencement of such bankruptcy made payments out of (he regular course of business not being for the ordinary expenses of himself or his family; (2l that having been adjudged bankrupt, lie had by unjustifiable extravagance brought about such bankruptcy. Shaw, who pleaded not guilty, reserved his defence and was committed for trial. Bail was allowed in one surety of £KjO.
