POPULAR PICTURE PALACE.
To-night will be the last opportunity of witnessing the somewhat different and thrilling Western drama, “Cavanagh of the Forest Rangers,” and supporting subjects, which are well above the average standard. At the matinee to-morrow and three succeeding nights a powerful propagandist play, “Scandal,” with Constance Talmage in the leading role, will be the star attraction. “Scandal” is a daring theme, delicately handled ,and conveys a powerful message to mothers and daughters alike, and is a second “Enlighten Thy Daughter.” Constance Talmage takes her place among the first rank of screen actresses. The play gives excellent opportunities for good acting, and whatever -mood she portrays is done perfectly. She is positively charming all through and will endear herself to all hearts. The picture is a “Select Feature,” and the settings are unusually gorgeous. ALBION THEATRE. “Masks and Faces” heads the bill at the Albion Theatre to-night. It is a production of uncommon merit, with a fine story, but this is not the main point regarding it. What makes a feature of unusual appeal is the fact that all the great English actors, actresses, and playrights of to-day appear in this historic picture, winch will be screened for the last time to-night. _A change of programme wiH be made to-morrow, featuring a five-apt Triangle drama entitled “Who is to Blame,” starring Jack Livingston, Maude Wayne, LiDian West, and Jack Eddie, the delightful Japanese actor, in a story of and New York. ' First screening to-morrow at the matinee at 2, p.m.
