THE STEFANSSON EXPEDITION
I , NEW ARCTIC DISCOVERIES. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) OTTAWA, January 15. Dr Stefansson discovered several large Arctic lands north-west of Banks Land and took possession of them in the name of Canada. Stefansson intends to remain an additional year in the Arctic to explore new lands from the base of Wrangel Island.
