Referring !o the recent announcement I that the New Zealand Division had been at- | (.itched to a British Army Corps organisa- ! lion. Mr C. .1. Parr, M.P., has addressed a | letter to the Minister of Defence in the ; course of which he says:— ‘'May I respectfully ask the import, of llhis -hrmye'' Does it mean that the rela- | tionship between the New Zealand and Aus--1 tralian forces is to he permanently severed, j and if so may T ask if the official reason of this step is available? Is there to he any nit.era.tion in the army command as a consequence of this change? If so ran you tell me who is to be (he commander of the new Army Coq>s to which the New Zealand force is assigned? Na to rally the parents and relatives of our soldiers are keenly interested as to the Army Commander, and if you can give us any information on this point 1 am i sure it would be welcomed.”
