CRADDOCK CASES
THREE YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT. [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, November 1. At the Supreme Court criminal sittings Alfred Ernest Craddock, convicted yesterday of fraudulent conversion of trust monies, was further charged with the theft of various sums from trustees —namely, Trench’s estate £566 10s, W. J. Trench £7O, Samuel Gallagher £230, and Edward Adkins £292. He pleaded guilty to charges in the Trench estate, and W. J. Trench. In connection with other cases in which be pleaded not guilty no evidence was offered, and a formal verdict of not guilty was returned. Craddock was sentenced to three years' imprisonment on each charge on which he had been found guilty, to run concurrently. '
