REGISTRATION OF ORCHARDS

FRESH REGULATIONS. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 6. Fresh regulations for the registration of orchards are published in the Gazette. They provide that every occupier of an orchard, from which fruit is sold or intended to be sold, shall in September of each year apply for the registration of such orchard. Every occupier of an orchard, from which fruit is neither sold nor intended to be sold, shall in September, 1919, and each third year thereafter, make application for the registration of such orchard, and shall certify that no fruit has been sold from such orchard while occupied by him during the three years ended August 31st preceding. The regulations come into force on date of publication.
