BOOKBINDERS AND PAPER-RULERS

A NEW AGREEMENT. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 11. Before the Conciliation Council an agreement was reached in the bookbinders and paper-rulers’ dispute for dominion-wide application on the lines of a similar recent Wellington agreement. A war bonus of 5/- per week is granted, also provision is made for disabled soldiers to work at under-rate wages. This and the lithographers’ agreement will be submitted to the Arbitration Court to-morrow for confirmation. The term is three years from 2nd April.
