LONDON. January 31. Received January 31, 8.55 p.m. The Admiralty report that the Laurentic was mined and not submarined.
LONDON, January 31 Received January 31, 9.35 p.m.
There were 400 people aboard the Laurcntic. The 121 survivors include fiftywounded, who were landed in the northwest of Deland. Seventy bodies were washed ashore on Saturday. There was a very high sea at the time of the disaster and a keen frost, from which the survivors suffered terribly.
