Two anchors were lost in the roadstead. THE WEATHER. SUMMARY AND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, July 18. Following is the weather summary for the past 24 hours; —Cold and changeable weather has been experienced with showers in several localities. Moderate to strong south-easterly winds have ruled in the north and south-westerlies in the south. The atmospheric pressure has increased everywhere. Present indications are for variable winds, south-westerly breezes predominating. Expect cool and changeable conditions generally, with little movement of the barometer at present.
