OTAXTTAXJ STOCK BALE. The yarding on Friday was large for th’s time of 'ear, and the entry mostly comprised hogget;., several pens of good stuff being forward. There were also a fair number of wethers penned, but the entry of ewes was only medium. The attendance of buyers was large, with the result that high prices were obtained, these being easily two shillings per head better than \\ hat were considered outside values at the Winton sale the previous week. This was most notable in hoggets and wethers, and in the latter section hard, closc-woolled stuff readied a point which makes it difficult to say how purchasers are going to receive a satisfactory return for the feed. The whole entry changed hands, and a good number more might have been sold had they been forward.
