A WARNING.
To the Editor. Sir, —With your permission, I am ■writing' these few lines in the hope that they will be seen by the persons in question, and perhaps prevent a recurrence of what might have been a very serious accident. Last Sunday (13th Feb.), some persons, apparently fishermen, left their motor car among some broom, just off the east end of the Dipton bridge, the car being so placed that neither horse nor driver of a passing vehicle could see It until they were a few feet from it. I happened to be the driver of one of three buggies, and each horse in turn shied, with the result that all had a very narrow escape of being thrown over the embankment into the river. I think tho owner of the car in question can consider himself very lucky that there was no damage done, and also take the hint and not leave his car in such a dangerous piece of road, as he might not be so luckynext time. —I am, etc., ONE CONCERNED. February 21.
