To the Editor. Sir, —Any proceeding .likely to cause a feeling of doubt as to onr ability to recover from any financial strain due to Die war Is at the present moment much to be deplored, and might easily be regarded as extremely unpatriotic. We are going to win this war, and after that our little dominion will rise to such a height of prosperity as it has never known, and all classes of financial societies will undoubtedly prosper exceedingly.—l am, etc., J. G. L. SCOT. February 21.
