INVERCARGILL KENNEL CLUB
A meeting of the Invercargill Kennel Club was held in the Fanciers’ rooms last evening, Mr J. Millar presiding. Mr \V. Henderson, consequent on his removal to Dunedin, forwarded his resignation as a member of the committee. —The resignation was accepted with regret, ard Mr Alex. Kidd was appointed to ,M 1 the vacancy. Mr W. Bread was also unanimously appointed a member of the committee.
It was decided to hold the annual show in May. and it was reported that the pi cruised support was so good that a record entry was confidently expected. Gratification was expressed that the Club should, have been so fortunate as to secure the challenge classes in roughcoated collies, smooth-coated collies, and greyhounds, the action of the X.Z. Kennel Club in allotting these attractive items to the Invercargill Club being highly appreciated. It was reported that the Club was steadily growing in popularity, the increase in the number of fanciers that has beer, noted in Southland being the deter paining factor in this regard.
