A DECREASE IN CRIME

(Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, February 11. At the criminal sessions in the Supreme Court to-day Mr Justice, Hoskins commented on the light calendar, there being only 11 indictments. His Honour said there appeared to be a similar diminution in Supreme Court cases throughout the dominion. The people had been instructed to practice economy, and it was satisfactory to note that the practice of economy had resulted in a decline of crime.
