FORGERY
GOVERNMENT CLERK PLEADS GUILTY. (Per United Press Association.) WHANGARE!, Uebruaryc S. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day, Charles Henry Rule, a clerk in the Public Works, on railway works at Oakleigh, was charged with the forgery of the signature of \V R. Patterson on two vouchers for fill 15s and fat Us 6d. Ihe evidence went to show that fldl restitution was made. Accused pleaded guilty to both charges, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
