THE TWO DOMINIONS

AND TRADE WITH U, S. A. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. OTTAWA, June 15. Received June 16. 9.35 p.m. Mr Beddoes, Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, reports that Now Zealand exporters are arranging with San Francisco and New Y'ork importers to accept increased consignments. Canadian trade is likely to be affected if New Zealand tariff for United States’ manufactured articles be reduced. While strong pressure is the apparent cure for this New Zealand exporters naturally favour concessions to a country which opened them new markets, but on the other hand a strong feeling prevails for dealing within the British Empire’s confines if such can he done advantageously.
