DIPTCjN BRANCH. The annual meeting of the Dipton branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union was held on .March 27, when there was a largo attendance of members. > Mr T. Allan was elected chairman, and Messrs Allan and A. Peat (scretary), were appointed delegates to the provincial conference. Various remits were arranged for the conference and after an interesting discussion on various matters of-interest, both local , and general, the meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the retiring" chairman.
