CHRISTCHURCH SITTINGS. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 17. At the Supremo Court, Thos. McKinnon Collins was found not guilty of an alleged indecent act. Lester Herbert, fifteen years, was acquitted of a charge of indecent assault. Cecil Smithers, found guilty of indecent .assault, was severely warned by Iris H«n«ur, and in view of the special circumstances of the case, ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. DIVORCE CASES. AUCKLAND, May 17. The following decrees were granted by Mr Justice Edwards, sitting in divorce: —Lydia Mabel Torbett v. Francis George Torbett: George Powell v. Lizzie Powell; Edith Victoria McKinnon v. Frank McKinnon; Edith Maude Hurle v. Henry Isaac William Hurl©; Annie Shiels v. Robert Shiels; Thomas Phillips v. Sarah Ruth Phillips; Mary Evelyn Aitken v. Thomas Aitken. Publication of the evidence in the last case was forbidden by the Betich.
