CANADIAN TARIFF
REVISION PREDICTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.) OTTAWA, May 16. Mr Gourlay, President of the Canadian Manufacturers’ Association, at a meeting at Montreal, predicted that Canada was on the eve of a general revision of tariffs on similar lines to the United States. The agreement with the West Indies and that pending with Australia will be tiie forerunner of a general revision.
