Summary; Barometric pressure increased last night, and the winds have changed to southerly, with decreasing force generally. Squally conditions prevailed in many parts last night, much rain falling and some snow on the higher eveis in tlie South, but the weather hits been more propitious to-day in most parts of the country. Forecast; Present indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds, and a rising barometer. Cold and changeable with some scattered showers, are probable for a short time, but fair weather predominating.
