Received June 4. 9.30 p.m. The Medical Officer of the port of London authority, in his report for 1911, referring to Australia’s and New Zealand’s appointments of veterinary inspectors in London, cays that if they co-operate with the sanitary authorities here they will ensure meat arriving quite sound and free from disease. During the year 27 pigs were condemned for tuberculosis, including 52 Australian and two New Zealand.
