Andrew Cormack was locking up his house when he was confronted hy a masked man, who presented a revolver at his head. Cormack knocked the revolver aside and closed with the man. They struggled and wrestled for a long lime in the garden, and their cries brought out Carmack's brother. Together they disabled the intruder and conveyed him to the police station. The police also arrested an armed man in the city early this morning. Upon searching him they found a portion of the proceeds of one of the recent numerous burglaries. The man fought savagely before being overpowered.
