KING'S VISIT TO INDIA

The route was crowded, and they were loudly cheered. Cabinet Ministers, Ambassadors, Sir George Reid, Sir "Wm. -Hall-Jones, and three .hundred notables farewelled the King 'and Queen at Victoria station. . . The steamer Medina, with; their Majesties aboard, left Portsmouth in the afternoon. The fleet at Splthead saluted, and the first division of the Home fleet accompanied the ’steamer down the Channel, providing a find’spectacle. THROUGH THE RED SEA. ; LONDON. Nov. .12. . During tho s.s. Medina’s passage through the Red Sea Turkey has agreed to relight the lights that have been extinguished owing to the war.
